HON 2070 - Honors Introduction to Marine Biology (LS)

Credits: 4
Introductory study of life in the ocean. Surveys the diversity of life in the ocean, including microorganisms, algae, seaweeds, invertebrates, and vertebrates. Examines evolution and the diversity of life and the interrelationships of living organisms in the ocean. In conjunction with HON 2211 , extensive reading and writing in the discipline of marine biology. For non-science majors.

Prerequisite: ENGL 0900  or above with C grade or better, or appropriate placement score
Corequisite: HON 2211
