TESL 1000 - Foundation Reading and Writing

Recommended Corequisite TESL 1015. In this Foundation (Pre-A1) course, students with limited English experience learn foundational reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary skills. They practice the alphabet and build knowledge through pictures, gestures, and writing common words/phrases to communicate. Students receive both in-classroom and online instruction to support their language learning.

Prerequisite: Placement into CEFR Level below A1, GSE score 10-21, or instructor approval.
