FASH 2040 - Business of Fashion

Students will learn about the business structure of the fashion industry, including: contracting, manufacturing, import/export goods, wholesale/retail pricing, legal issues and copyrights, licensing, permits, intellectual property, distribution, pricing, merchandising, as well as the international economics of fashion, and global competition and resulting labor issues.

Prerequisite: FASH 1010
