Program Description
This is a Certificate of Proficiency designed to introduce students to the field of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. Business Intelligence is a data driven decision making approach that uses statistics & data analysis, information technology, and fact-based data to measure business performance to guide an organization in business planning and effective decision making. Data analytics tools are used to visualize and explore the patterns and trends in the data to predict future business outcomes with the help of predictive modeling.
This program will teach student how data analytics tools are used to visualize and explore the patterns and trends in the data to predict future business outcomes with the help of forecasting and predictive modeling. The student will gain an understanding of how big data and business analytics tools are used in key areas of business including finance, operations, human resources, and digital marketing. This certificate will also prepare the student for further study and a career in analytics - one of the emerging fields.
