Program Description: This program is designed to teach light commercial and residential construction management and sustainable building methods that address the green building and energy conservation demands of today. It is designed to allow students to transfer into various construction management related programs. The program provides student with an indepth educational experience in construction management coursework. It is a building block toward a BS degree in Construction Management or related fields.

Career Opportunities: Entry level positions within a construction company with potential for rapid promotion. This is the first step toward starting a construction management career or private contractor business.

Students who earn an AS degree in Construction Management have the option to transfer into the Technology Management - Construction Management Option, Bachelor Degree at Utah Valley University.

It is recommended to those students seeking an AS degree to complete one or more general education requirements in the summer.

The AS Degree in Construction Management is designed for students with some construction experience and those students wishing to transfer and complete a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
