Biological Science courses introduce students to the concepts of structure, function and development at the molecular, cellular and organismal levels. Students will learn specific ways of knowing and relating to the biological elements of human experience. They will understand, value, and use science as a process of obtaining knowledge based on observable evidence. They will understand that human beings are living organisms dependent on the biological world for survival and quality of life.
