KESL 0125 - Beginning Reading/Writing

This course develops reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar skills. It is intended for beginning level students with some basic ability in reading and writing but with some limitations in terms of fluency, vocabulary expression, and language structure. Learner outcomes include improved ability to read and understand high frequency vocabulary and increasingly complex sentences and to write extended discourse with increasing accuracy.

Prerequisite: Appropriate placement score
