MFET 2450 - Process Automation Credits: 3 This course is a study of the elements used in the automation of manufacturing processes. These elements include programmable logic controllers, industrial automation uses of servo and non-servo motors, vision systems, material handling devices, hydraulic systems and components, pneumatic systems and components and other topics required to meet the needs of students as they prepare for employment with local manufacturers.
Recommended Corequisite: EET2170 or appropriate placement. Semester: Spring
