MGT 2070 - Human Resource Management Credits: 3 This course will present an overview of organizational and people development from a manager’s, a supervisor’s, and a HR professional’s perspective. Emphasis will be placed on the interdependencies of the roles of HR and its various people systems, including recruitment, selection, training, development, evaluation, compensation, and separation. Specific topics will include job analysis and design, HR planning, performance appraisal systems, compensation and rewards, benefit packages, training techniques, motivation, workplace environment, and organizational behavior. The course will also explore the importance of human relations and communication skills throughout the organization
Prerequisite: BUS 1010 or BUS 1050 or MGT 1600 Semester: Fall & Spring
