Program Description
Building upon a foundation of prior knowledge and skills developed through work experience or prior education, students enrolling in the Windows Server Administration hands-on training program will continue to expand their knowledge, abilities and skills to support Microsoft server and desktop systems and services in small, medium, and large network environments.

A broad range of client, server, and network management topics are covered in this program including in-depth coverage of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) topics, user, group and computer account management, Group Policy implementation, remote management and administration, domain controller management, Certificate Services, rights management, Distributed File System (DFS), Software Defined Networking (SDN), network access policies and solutions, high performance network solutions, Domain Name Services (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, IP Address Management (IPAM), routing, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), RADIUS, Distributed File System (DFS), Software Defined Networking (SDN), and more.

Training within this program can be used as a step to gaining valuable industry recognized certification titles including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
