Program Description
Students with an interest in developing web and publishing skills specifically related new trends in mobile publishing through creative and visual methods should consider this specialized Certificate of Completion through the Visual Art & Design Department.
Students who elect to pursue this certificate will learn a variety of cutting edge technologies specifically related to electronic and mobile publishing, social media, and new trends as they are developed. Students will stay up-to-date on current trends in industry leading software as well as popular technologies associated with social media, mobile apps, and mobile devices through the required courses outlined below.
Career Opportunities
Upon completion of this certificate, students may find entry level positions in the Graphic Arts Industry including but not limited to graphic communications and web design related careers.
Transfer/Articulation Information
This certificate is currently not transferable to four year institutions; however, some of the General Education components are transferable. The Visual Art & Design Department is committed to general and preprofessional programs and some credits may be granted by receiving institutions on a per case basis.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
