Program Description:
The program provides courses required by Microsoft for the MCTS and MCITP:SA certification titles. Students receive guidance from certified instructors throughout this intensive “hands-on” training program as they learn to install, configure, manage, secure and troubleshoot the latest Windows Client and Server operating systems and services in a Windows domain environment. The training can also be used as a step in preparation to take industry exams to earn Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and Windows 2008 Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional: Server Administrator (MCITP:SA) titles.
A broad range of client, server, and network management topics are covered in this program including: file and print services, directory services, user and group account management, automation of tasks through scripts, remote management and administration, domain controller management, software distribution and updates, Terminal Services, audit policies, vulnerability assessment, firewall configuration, network access protection, encryption, data backup and recovery, disaster prevention, cluster services, network load balancing, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP subnetting, Group Policy, VPN configuration, Terminal Services, Routing, Patch Management, operating system virtualization, and Hyper-V
