Program Description: Network and computer systems administrators are responsible for the day-to-day operation of an organization’s computer networks. They organize, install, and support an organization’s computer systems, including local area
networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems.

Career Opportunities: Employment of network and computer systems administrators is expected to grow 28 percent from 2010 to 2020, faster than the average for all occupations. Demand for these workers is high and should continue to grow as
firms invest in newer, faster technology and mobile networks.

NOTE: This Certificate of Proficiency is eligible for financial aid if it is a part of a financial aid eligible program such as an AS or AAS degree. Courses within the certificate may also be eligible if taken as part of a financial aid eligible program. Please check with the Financial Aid Office to determine if the Certificate of Proficiency and classes are eligible.
