HIT 1010 - Introduction to Computers for Health Information Workers Credits: 1 Students will acquire basic concepts related to computer hardware, software, digital security, data entry and management of data while studying the impact of information technology in the medical field. Students will acquire basic computer skills with a focus on word processor, spreadsheets, presentations, web browser, email, calendar, imaging and scanning with an emphasis on navigation, accuracy and analysis.
Prerequisite: Admission to the program of Program Manager’s persmission Recommended Corequisite: HIT 1020 , HIT 1030 , HIT 1040 and HIT 1100 Semester: All
