KMCB 0200 - Outpatient Medical Coding

Contact Hours: 150   |  Additional Course Fee Required
This course covers concepts and rules governing diagnostic and procedural coding in the outpatient setting using the ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding manuals. Course will include web-enhanced lectures, exercises, and practical application in a structured classroom environment. Successful completion will help prepare students to take the AAPC and/or AHIMA national coding certification exams.

Prerequisite: KMCB 0120  and KMCB 0130
