GEO 2900 - Independent Projects - Mentored Student Research Projects Credits: 1-3 This course offers students the opportunity to do original scientific research while gaining skills, including objective observation, written and oral communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. In addition, students will develop skills for reviewing scientific literature, data collection in the field and/or lab, data analyses, data mapping in GIS, and research poster presentation.
