VIET 1020 - Second Semester Vietnamese (LN) Credits: 5 Vietnamese is the fifth most-spoken language in the US and has been identified by the U.S. government as a critical language for national security. This is the second in a series of courses which focus on listening, speaking, reading, writing and culture. Major objective of the first year is to develop functional language ability in Vietnamese, and cultural competence.
Prerequisite: Completion of VIET 1010 with a grade of C or better, or equivalent competency as demonstrated through placement. Semester: Spring
