GEOG 2880 - Drone Imagery and GIS Credits: 3 Flight mission planning, acquisition capture, and post-processing of imagery using Small Unmanned Systems (sUAS) for geospatial imaging and analysis. This hands-on course covers high-resolution video, aerial imaging, and intelligent mission planning for image capture, editing, analysis, mapping, 3D visualizations and modeling, and related uses. Students will pilot drones provided by SLCC and may be required to travel within the Salt Lake Valley for flight training.
Prerequisite: GEOG 2650 and GEOG 2850 Recommended Prerequisite: GEOG 2500 , GEOG 2550 Semester: Summer
