NURS 1100 - Fundamentals of Nursing Credits: 5 This course provides an introduction to nursing and roles of the nurse in micro- and macrosystems, as well as professional related and patient care concepts. The theoretical foundation for basic assessment and nursing skills is presented and the student is given an opportunity to demonstrate these skills in a clinical laboratory setting using the nursing process and effective clinical judgment.
