Plan of Study

The following is a plan of requirements to complete this Associate of Applied Science degree in 2 years. Each student’s experience will vary slightly, as this plan does not include transfer work, Advanced Placement (AP), or other institutions’ concurrent enrollment credits. Math and English placement will be based on the student’s appropriate placement scores. If developmental courses are required, they should be taken in the student’s first semester.

NOTE: This plan assumes the student is prepared to take the courses listed. If prerequisites are required, additional semesters may be required to complete this degree.

Advising Notes

The Automotive Program will run daytime courses, Monday through Friday, 7 am – 11:50 am, with all courses available (Day) in the Fall and Spring semesters. Evening courses are offered in a rotating schedule with the Semester 1 (program entry), and the Semester 3, (Evening) courses offered in the Fall semester, and the Semester 2, and the Semester 4 (Evening) courses offered in the Spring semester. Students enrolling full-time in the daytime can complete the program in two years (see Graduation Map) regardless of whether they start in the Spring or Fall semester; however, they will need to enroll in General Education courses along with the program courses. Evening students must start in the fall semester to complete the program in two years. Students are encouraged to take the recommended corequisites together; however, if they cannot, they need to know it will take longer to complete the program.
