Advising Notes

Students should contact the Interior Design Academic Advisor or the Interior Design Department for additional information on:

  • Elective courses that would be most beneficial to the student’s career goals.
  • A pathway to transfer to 4 year institutions.

Students who need to take preparatory classes to meet the requirements of first semester courses should plan on extra time to complete the program. It is the student’s responsibility to examine each course description for details of prerequisite classes. Those prerequisites must be satisfied before courses may be taken.

* INTD 1010 is a Fine Art General Education course. Courses that meet General Education requirements may be used to meet program requirements. If this option is chosen, student must complete additional elective courses in Interior Design to meet the total credit hour requirement. Please meet with an academic advisor to discuss options.
