Plan of Study 2017-2018

The following is a plan of requirements to complete this Associate of Applied Science degree in 2.5 years. Each student’s experience will vary slightly, as this plan does not include transfer work, Advanced Placement (AP), or other institutions’ concurrent enrollment credits. Math and English placement will be based on the student’s Accuplacer/ACT/SAT scores. If developmental courses are required, they should be taken in the student’s first semester.

NOTE: This plan assumes the student is prepared to take the courses listed. If prerequisites are required, additional semesters may be required to complete this degree.

Advising Notes

Respiratory Therapy program accepts up to 25 students every Spring semester. Classes are taught during the evening typically from 5:00 pm-9:30 pm Monday-Friday. All prerequisite courses must be completed by the end of the Fall semester in order to apply for the upcoming Fall semester. Once accepted and enrolled into the Respiratory Therapy program,students are required to maintain a grade of B- in all Respiratory Therapy course. If a student does not meet the minimum grade requirements, the student may retake the course one time. Failure to meet the minimum grade requirement in either didactic or clinical will require a repeat of both courses concurrently. If a student is dismissed from the program and wishes to return, they will need to reapply to the Respiratory Therapy program. Attendance is mandatory.
