Program Description:
This intensive program is designed to prepare students for an entry level truck driving position as a Class “A” CDL driver. The program has three courses with units of study that cover basic and advanced operating practices, defensive driving, inspections, life skills and essential activities such as trip planning, map reading, hours of service, cargo handling and an employment workshop.

Students must demonstrate basic education skills as assessed by the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).
