Program Description: This emphasis is for professional careers in the Web Programming and Development area of the information systems field. Fundamentals of business as well as technical skills are emphasized, in order to utilize Web Programming and Development effectively in a business environment. The “business to consumer” and “business to business” paradigms are explored. Graduates are trained in the technical aspects of website management, preparation, development and implementation.

Career Opportunities: Web Programmer, Web Designer, Web Developer, Web Engineer.

NOTE: This Certificate of Proficiency is eligible for financial aid if it is a part of a financial aid eligible program such as an AS or AAS degree. Courses within the certificate may also be eligible if taken as part of a financial aid eligible program. Please check with the Financial Aid Office to determine if the Certificate of Proficiency and classes are eligible.
