Program Description
Concrete Masonry Apprenticeship teaches students to be a skilled craft worker who works with a crew to pour, smooth, and finish floors/curbs/walls/columns, and other structures using concrete and industry hand/power tools, typically working outdoors. Apprentices in this DOL registered program ‘learn and earn’ while developing foundational safety practices and industry-specific skills to work confidently alongside their team.

Career Opportunities
Apprenticeship students must be employed while participating in related training coursework.

Estimated Time to Completion
This two-year apprenticeship program spans four semesters. It is composed of two parts: (1) paid, on-the-job training provided by a sponsor (employer) who exposes the apprentice to practical applications in all phases of the trade; (2) classroom-related instruction designed to provide the apprentice with knowledge of theoretical and technical aspects of the trade.

Program Entry Requirements
None. It is highly recommended that students be registered with DOL by their Sponsor (employer).
