Program Description 
The AAS in Business Management includes the study of business theory and principles applied in the many activities of business today, both nationally and worldwide. Emphasis is given to problem solving and decision making to prepare the graduate with decision-making skills for a variety of career areas.

Career Opportunities
Graduates with an AAS in Business Management will gain the skills and abilities to apply for a variety of jobs including General & Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Business Analyst, Entrepreneur, and Retail Manager.

In selecting Quantitative Studies (QS) courses to fulfill general education for an AAS, students must follow requirements of their program of study in this catalog.

AAS degrees at SLCC require students to take one course (3 credits) from the list of General Education Distribution Areas.

  • Business Management AAS: Full-time  
  • Time to completion is 4 semesters based on a full-time minimum of 15 credits per semester. Less than 15 credits per semester will increase time to completion.
