Program Description
A study of the Linux operating system, including desktop, server and enterprise environments. Including terminal emulation, use of system editors, basic Linux command, writing script files and introductory system management concepts.

Career Opportunities
The use of Linux is growing and increasing market share within the IT community. The future IT person will have to be aware if not familiar with Linux in a business environment.

  • Linux System Administration CP: Part-time  
  • Time to completion is three semesters based on a full-time minimum of 15 credits per semester. Less than 15 credits per semester will increase time to completion.
