Program Description
This program prepares students for skilled positions as an entry-level CNC Operator. CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operators are individuals who are able to set up and operate a variety of CNC machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Students will learn through hands-on projects and computer-assisted instruction, the basic skills needed to fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical and/ or precision instruments. Employment may also include fabricating and modifying parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines .
