Program Description
Beginning carpentry training in printreading, safe tool handling and use, and basic framing techniques in floors, walls, ceiling joists, and roofs.
Career Opportunities
Upon successful completion of program, students will have the necessary knowledge to compete for positions on framing crews in residential and commercial construction.

This program is designed to instill a desire to work in the construction industry and further educational pursuits towards an Associate of Science degree (A.S.) Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.) or a Certificate of Completion.

Students must demonstrate basic education skills as assessed by the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE):

- Time to completion is 185 clock hours. Students would typically complete 20 hours per week and complete the program in approximately 3 months.
