Program Description
The student will be introduced to different programming languages. Students will discover the process of designing, writing, testing, debugging/troubleshooting and maintaining the source code of computer programs. Students will create programs that produces a certain desired behavior in various labs.

Career Opportunities
Students who complete this program will be qualified to work as Software Quality Assurance Technicians. Utah is expected by 2024 to have a 33% increase in these positions according to www.careeronestop.org

  • Prepare workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language. [1,3,4,9]
