Work in this profession is emotionally and physically demanding and involves constant auditioning, self-care, and networking. Students may obtain employment and/or internships with theatres in the local communities and nation-wide as performers. Performers may seek representation by talent agencies in order to work in the film and television industry, or audition without representation.
