Program Description
This program provides a comprehensive introduction to the networking field and in-depth exposure to fundamental networking, LAN switching, wireless LANs, basic routing, Cybersecurity, WAN concepts, VPNs, QoS, virtualization, and network automation. Threaded throughout the program are security concepts and skills including threat mitigation through LAN security, ACLs, and IPsec. Through hands-on lab activities, students learn how to implement network technologies and troubleshoot common issues.

Estimated Time to Completion
Time to completion is 15 weeks based on a full-time minimum of 24 clock hours per week. Less than 24 clock hours per week will increase time to completion.
Specialized Program Accreditation
This program is taught through the Cisco Network Academy sponsored by Cisco Systems. Cisco provides all curriculum and professional development to faculty that has passed the Cisco Networking Academy and have passed Cisco Certified Network Associate certification. All students who pass the Cisco final exams with the required score or higher receive a voucher for their certification exam.
