Program Description
This program covers basic and advanced scripting and programming skills needed to create web sites and applications that are dynamic, data-driven, and interactive. The courses include techniques to build web sites that ensure functionality, security, and ease of use. Instruction includes debugging, validating, cookies, sessions, server and clientside issues. The Web Programmer certificate is designed to provide the student with comprehensive training in scripting, software applications, and skills to prepare the student for employment doing web-programming tasks in a variety of organizational settings.

Program Entry Requirements
Recommended Prerequisites: The student should be computer literate with a working knowledge of the Internet for searching and finding resources, and have basic typing skills of at least 25 wpm, along with TABE scores of 10.0 Reading, 8.0 Math.
