Program Description
The AS Degree focusing on Engineering Design/Drafting Technology is designed for students who have completed an Engineering Design/Drafting Technology AAS  and who are interested in transferring to UVU Technology Management Bachelor’s degree. The program allows the courses that are required in the AAS degree to be combined with additional General Education courses to satisfy AS degree requirements.

Transfer/Articulation Information
Upon completion of the AS degree, students should be able to transfer as juniors to UVU Technology Management Bachelor’s program (see a transfer advisor). Students who transfer before completing the AAS and the AS in Engineering Design/Drafting Technology must see the UVU advisor about specific requirement they may still need to complete; including MATH 1040 .

Admission into a major program at a transfer institution depends upon the receiving institution’s requirements for that major. Some major programs are restricted and require special application as well as a competitive GPA. See an Academic Advisor at both SLCC and the intended receiving institution for specific articulation information.
