This course the main concepts of college algebra and trigonometry. Topics include polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, inverse and trigonometric functions, graphs and equations; matrices and determinants; sequences and series; solutions of triangles; conics; and polar coordinates. Satisfies the prerequisite for calculus.

Prerequisite: RDG 0990  w/C grade or better or appropriate placement score; AND within the last year an appropriate placement score, MATH 1010  w/A grade, or departmental approval
