MA 1300 - Clinical Pharmacology Credits: 3 Material in this course will familiarize students with basic principles of pharmacology including the five steps in the fate of a drug, the five Controlled Drug Schedules, the correct method of writing a prescription, proper methods of charting drug orders, and the appropriate abbreviations to be used for charting medications in a physicians office. Students will also collect data for drugs cards determined by the subject matter for the week.
