GEOG 2300 - Statistics for GIS Credits: 3 An introductory course in nonspatial and spatial descriptive statistics and inferential problem solving with probability, sampling, and estimation from a geographic and spatial perspective. All examples and real-world problems will focus on both the physical and cultural environments and will provide a solid foundation for those seeking statistical skill sets in the geospatial industry.
Prerequisite: GEOG 1820; and MATH 1010 or appropriate Accuplacer score
