MATH 1045 - Introduction to Statistics with Integrated Algebra (QL)

MATH 1040 curriculum augmented with algebra foundations. Emphasizes descriptive and inferential statistical procedures through simulation, sampling design, descriptive statistics, linear regression and correlation, probability, sampling distributions, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals, and technology to perform statistical analyses. Recommended for students desiring statistical literacy. It is recommended students complete MATH 0920 or higher w/C grade or better within the last year or receive an appropriate placement score prior to taking this course.

Prerequisite: ENGL 0900 w/C grade or better or appropriate placement score
