ESL 1020 - Advanced II Reading and Writing Credits: 5 CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT STUDENTS ONLY. This course develops academic reading, writing, and research skills of advanced level ESL students. Students work on language skills necessary for successful completion of college content courses. Learner outcomes include academic vocabulary development, improvement in reading and comprehension of college textbook materials, and development of the academic essay and research paper writing skills.
Prerequisite: Appropriate SLCC placement or successful completion of TESL 1420 . Semester: All
