Theory of pipe welding and fitting, layout, and fabrication including blueprint reading and interpretation. Emphasis on American Welding Society D1.1 and American Petroleum Institute1104 in preparation for welder qualification tests.

Prerequisite: WLD 2230 and WLD 2231
