EGMT 1210 - Advanced HVAC Optimization for Energy Efficiency I Credits: 2 Introduction to large commercial HVAC systems/energy use with site visit and follow-up discussions to help students identify system types and conservation opportunities. Topics include waterside HVAC system types, review of the refrigeration cycle, fluid flow in piping and ducts, system tuning, operations and maintenance, problem solving using psychrometrics and energy conserving retrofit options.
