KESL 0015 - Beginning I Speaking & Listening Clock Hours: 60 This course develops basic listening, speaking, pronunciation, and vocabulary skills in English. This course is for students with little basic English skills. Students will develop communication skills for academic and work life situations. Students will practice fluency and accuracy in speaking, and they will develop strategies for comprehending short spoken passages on familiar topics.
Prerequisite: Appropriate SLCC placement. Semester: Fall, Spring, Summer
