KAUT 0270 - Automotive Heating & Air Conditioning

Clock Hours: 100
This ASE-EF accredited course is a study of the automotive heating, air conditioning and passenger comfort systems. In this lecture/lab course students demonstrate their proficiency in the design, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of modern automotive heating and air conditioning systems and obtain an industry required Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 609 Certification.

Prerequisite: KAUT 0100, with concurrency
Recommended Corequisite: KAUT 0105, KAUT 0110, KAUT 0150, KAUT 0140, KAUT 0160, KAUT 0210, KAUT 0240, KAUT 0250
Semester: Fall, Spring, Summer
