RELS 2020 - Introduction to Buddhist Traditions (IG) Credits: 3 This course explores global variations of Buddhist cultures, literatures, moral teachings, scriptural interpretations, and philosophies, through primary and secondary sources. Students will also discover how Buddhist traditions have evolved, in both Eastern and Western cultures, relative to contemporary issues such as war, peace, gender, religious identity, and religious traditions.
