HIST 1220 - Asian History: Modern History & Societies (IG) Credits: 3 Examines modern and contemporary Asian civilizations from the end of the Mongol period to nearly the present through the historical lens. Students will explore the politics, economics of Asia as well societal ideas, values, and practices. Readings and assignments develop conceptual understanding and foster analytic, interpretive, and communication skills.
