PHIL 1250 - Reasoning and Rational Decision-Making (CM) Credits: 3 This course strengthens reasoning, communication and argumentation skills in a variety of contexts—professional, academic and public—through analyzing and evaluating argument-structure, fallacies, causal, statistical, probability, analogical and other inductive and deductive reasoning methodologies that ground knowledge claims in our disciplines, and in political, moral and legal spheres.
