CJ 2500 - Contemporary Violence Credits: 3 This course analyzes various types of violence, occurring nationally and globally, and studies the theories of violence. Students will gain knowledge about topics such as defining violence, assault, murder, torture, brutality, violence in the home, Stranger Danger, rape, sexual misconduct, and sexual assault, terrorism, genocide, just war theory, Unitarianism, and violence prevention strategies.
