The following is a plan of requirements to complete this Associate of Applied Science degree in two years. Each student’s experience will vary slightly, as this plan does not include transfer work, Advanced Placement (AP), or other institutions’ concurrent enrollment credits. Students must complete 3 CPs and the General Education courses to meet the requirements for the Associate of Applied Science degree.

-
Summer classes are recommended. CSIS 1020 , CSIS 1122 , CSIS 1129 , CSIS 1200 , and CSIS 1400 are the only CSIS courses offered during the summer. Summer is a good time to take some general education courses.

Student must have 49 credit hours in CSIS area. Some classes count in more than one certificate but only equal the 3 credit hours. If the student takes the recommended CSIS courses, they will complete the Fundamentals of Information Assurance and Cyber Defense certificates in addition to the 3 listed above.
