Plan of Study
The following is a plan of requirements to complete this Associate of Science degree in 2 years. Each student’s experience will vary slightly, as this plan does not include transfer work, Advanced Placement (AP), or other institutions’ concurrent enrollment credits. Math and English placement will be based on the student’s appropriate placement scores. If developmental courses are required, they should be taken in the student’s first semester.
NOTE: This plan assumes the student is prepared to take the courses listed. If prerequisites are required, additional semesters may be required to complete this degree.
Meet with the Academic Program Advisor and consult DegreeWorks for specific degree requirements.

Advising Notes
- It is highly recommended that each student meet with the Construction Management Program Advisor prior to starting this program. It is the students’ responsibility to understand the requirements for their chosen program of study and to examine each course description for details about the prerequisite classes. The Program Advisor may be reached in Academic Advising.
- It is recommended to those students seeking an AS degree to complete one or more general education requirements in the summer.
- The AS Degree in Construction Management is designed for students with some construction experience and those students wishing to transfer and complete a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
- We recommend students transferring to Weber State take the additional courses at Salt Lake Community College - ACCT 2010 , MATH 1060 , MGT 2050 and PHYS 2010 . They are not required for the degree.
- SKILLSUSA - All students enrolled in the program are encouraged to participate in SkillsUSA. This program is designed to promote leadership, communication, social, and employable skills. For more information see http://utahskillsusa.org
