Plan of Study 2022-2023

The following is a plan of requirements to complete this Associate of Applied Science degree in 18-24 months. Each student’s experience will vary slightly, as this plan does not include transfer work, Advanced Placement (AP), or other institutions’ concurrent enrollment credits. Math and English placement will be based on the student’s appropriate placement scores. If developmental courses are required, they should be taken in the student’s first semester.

NOTE: This plan assumes the student is prepared to take the courses listed. If prerequisites are required, additional semesters may be required to complete this degree.

Meet with the Academic Program Advisor and consult DegreeWorks for specific degree requirements.

Advising Notes

  • A new cohort starts each August and completes General Education courses during Fall Semester before beginning Energy Management program requirements in Spring Semester. Students may opt to complete General Education courses at the same time they are completing program requirements; however, MATH 1010  and PHYS 1010  must be completed before moving on to the 3rd Block of the Energy Management Program. Completion times will vary from 18-24 months based on incoming transfer credits and individual education plan. Program core classes meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings at the Larry H. Miller Campus in Sandy. General Education courses may be taken at any campus.
